Why Me?

So on Tuesday i ate something with nuts in it AGAIN! thats twice in a very short amount of time. So after I took some benedryll, and i felt normal again i was asking myself.... Why Me?? Why am i the one with the allergy to penuts? why is it only me who swells up like a ballon when i eat something out of the ordinary? I thought about it, and finally came up with my answer. Because if that were Kelsie or Kolton that had to go through all that, i wouldnt be able to stand watching it. If i had to sit there and watch Kelsie get an epipen shot, i wouldnt be able to do it. I would rather take the pain for myself then have to watch someone else go through it. If Kolton had to sit there with a swelling throat not knowing what was going to be the outcome, i wouldn't be able to watch it. Thats why i am the one going through it, not watching it. I have many friends who help me when it happens, but i am just glad that i am the one who it is happening to, not them. Thank you soo much to everyone who makes a dessert just for me so i can eat something with out nuts, and being there for me. I love you all SO much!

When life goes from bad..... to worse

Just a quick catch-up. I am in the school musical this year. I am the VP for honor soceity. and I am doing choir! yay!

So on Monday I told my mom i needed treats for musical practice. So we made chocolate chip cookies, and some had walnuts for my dad to take to work. We didnt make enough just chocolate chip cookies, so i took a few walnut cookies also. I even labeld the bag with the walnut cookies so i wouldn't eat them, and i knew a few people who were also allergic to nuts. In the musical there are about 40 people participating in it, so after i set the cookies down, and all of the confusion of everyone trying to get the cookie they wanted i went to go help clean up. There were 2 walnut cookies left, and 1 just chocolate cookie left. I got rid of the walnut cookies, and i decided to eat the last chocolate chip one. well as I was eating it, i though it kinda tasted a little different. After I had eaten most of the cookie, i looked down and saw a huge walnut right in the middle of the cookie. Then i realized why it tasted differnt. I had eaten a cookie with walnuts in it. No one was near me because i was on the way to the auditorium from the teahcers class room. So i stared freaking out. I hurry and walked back to the class room knowing that it was closer, and that the teacher was probably still in there, and a few of my friends were there. As i was walking back there were on there way there, and with tears running down my face I tried to calmly tell them what had happend.

I tried to stay as calm as possible, because i knew that if i freaked out about it, everyone else would too, and that would freak me out more, and then it would become worse. So we tryed to call my mom, no answer. I called my dad knowing that he couldnt do alot since he was 40 miles away at work, but he could at least make some phone calls for me and tell me what to do. So i sat there in a panic with my friends waiting for kolton to show up and take me home. I had to constantly remind them that i was not going to die, and that i would be fine. I had to eventually tell them that if they didnt stop worrying about it then it would become worse. When kolton picked me up, and i went home and took some benedryll. My mouth hurt a little, and i had a little shortness of breath, but nothing big. It was a scarry experence, but it taught me to always look at what i am eating. Just dont assume things.

I want to give a big thanks for all of my family alwats being a big part in my life, and being there to help me. I love living so close to so many relatives, so they can be there if everyone else is busy. I am glad i have a great brother who can drive and pick me up, and a great dad who knows what to do even in situations like that. And a mom who knows how to calm me down when i am freaking out. And all of my aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, and cousins that i can call to help me when the rest of my family is not able to be there. And all of my friends who were there for me when i needed them to sit with me, and help me when i needed it. Thank's to everyone who makes such a great impreesion in my life. I appriciate everything you do!

History Repeats Itself.

I lerned this in History, and then later got an email about it, so i wanted to share it with you. It is very interesting.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird!

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .

Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln , was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Isn't that intersting? I found it kind of scary actually!

The Pink Dress

I know i havn't written in awhile, but i just got an email about this story a few weeks ago, and i wanted to share it. It is a great story we all should remeber daily.

There was this little girl sitting by herself in the park. Everyone passed by her and never stopped to see why she looked so sad. Dressed in a worn pink dress, barefoot and dirty, the girl just sat And watched the people go by. She never tried to speak. She never said a word. Many people passed by her, but no one would stop. The next day I decided to go back to the park in curiosity to see If the little girl would still be there. Yes, she was there, right in the very spot where she was Yesterday, and still with the same sad look in her eyes. Today I was to make my own move and walk ove r to the little girl. For as we a ll know, a park full of strange people is not a place For young children to play alone. As I got closer I could see the back of the little girl's dress. It was grotesquely shaped. I figured that was the reason people just passed by and made no Effort to speak to her. Deformities are a low blow to our society and, heaven forbid if You make a step toward assisting someone who is different. As I got closer, the little girl lowered her eyes slightly to Avoid my intent stare. As I approached her, I could see the shape of her back more Clearly. She was grotesquely shaped in a humped over form. I smiled to let her know it was OK; I was there to help, to talk. I sat down beside her and opened with a simple, 'Hello.' The little girl acted shocked, and stammered a 'hi '; after a long Stare into my eyes. I smiled and she shyly smiled back. We talked until darkness fell and t he park was completely empty. I asked the girl why she was so sad. The little girl looked at me with a sad face said, 'Because, I'm Different.' I immediately said, 'That you are!'; and smiled. The little girl acted even sadder and said, 'I know.' 'Little girl,' I said, 'you remind me of an angel, sweet and Innocent.' She looked at me and smiled, then slowly she got to her feet and Said, 'Really?' 'Yes, you're like a little Guardian Angel sent to watch Over all the people walking by.' She nodded her head yes, and smiled. With that she opened the back of her pink dress and allowed her Wings to spread, then she said 'I am.' 'I'm your Guardian Angel,' with a twinkle in her eye. I was speechless -- sure I was seeing things. She said, 'For once you thought of someone other than yourself. My job here is done'.. I got to my feet and said, 'Wait, why did no one sto p to help an Angel?' She looked at me, smiled, and said, 'You're the only one that Could see me,' and then she was gone. And with that, my life was changed dramatically. So, when you think you're all you have, remember, your angel is Always watching over you.

OK, so last time i did that random question thing, i did some WAY random stuff, so here's my new one, OK?
1. I cant stand listening to people talk while there is music on. if its just the music in the store, i cant really tell, but when I'm in the car, or I'm listening to music on my computer, and someone tries to talk to me, i can't stand it, and i have to turn the music off.
2. this one is really weird because of the last one i wrote, but when I'm at school or church or something, and i am talking to my friend, and someone is telling the lesson, i can tell my friend something, or listen to what she is telling me and know exactly what is going on in the lesson, and i can answer most of the questions they ask me when the realize that i want paying attention. but if i don't want to pay attention, i never know what they are talking about if i choose not to listen...... its really weird.
3. I have to sleep with socks on every night. but when i wake up in the morning, i either have one sock off, or both of them are off, and it's always different.
4. My math teacher thinks that me and this seventh grader who sits behind me are sisters, or twins she has NEVER called us by the right names, and i don't think she ever will. that is why we sit next to each other now, so she can say one name, and whoever she said can answer the question.
5. i am VERY good at speaking an English accent. when my English teacher heard me speaking in it, she laughed, and asked if i had relatives that live in England. i just simply told her no, and she got a VERY surprised look on her face. i don't know how i speak it so well. i guess I've been watching too much harry potter.
6. I randomly speak Spanish while i am talking to someone. i say things like, bueno, hola, senior, and senorita perro, and sub once(this one is kinda a slogan for all the middle school XC runners) and i also count in Spanish whenever i say numbers.
7. i reran the mile in P.E. 4 times, and i am STILL not satisfied with my time. the first time i ran it, i was pretty satisfied, and then the next time i went to P.E. i ran it again to see if i could get a better time, and i got 1 sec. slower, so i went back the next day, and ran it again, and then i ran it again the next day, and i finally ended up with 6:54 as my best time. if you got 8 min, you got 100% on your final grade, so my coach couldn't understand why i wanted to keep running it. i was also the ONLY person to ever ask him if i could run it again to get a better time, even though i already had 100%
well that's my new tag, i hope you learned something new from it! i sure did from reading you guyses!

CHRISTMAS???

christmas keeps getting earlier and earlier each year. this year, it outrageous! seeing christmas commercials a week and a half before thanksgiving, or sometimes even sooner, thats a little weird! when you drive down the road and see peoples christmas trees up a week beofre thatnksgiving, its really weird! its like no one wants to give there thanks anymore on thanksgiving! What happened to the spirit of thanks giving? pretty soon there going to have to get rid of it and just make a VERY early christmas. i know that christmas is all about christ and how he was born, but some people dont see it like that, they see it as an oprotunity to get the prestnents we want. What happened to sharing all of the things your thankful for on thatnksgiving? i think this is all stupid and that christmas should NOT be advertised or even thought about until thanksgiving day is over, AND we have had time to rest to recover from the long weekened! if you agree on this, i would love to see your comments, if you dont, i still would too, maybe it is a good thing, maybe its not, i need some feedback! please write your opinions!

New Coat!!

So i got a new coat. its not a big fluffy winter coat, its a nice, and sorta warm coat. but it is SOOOO cute!!!!

me and kelsie convinced my mom and dad that we needed new nice coats, becasue our nice coats they bought us in vegas a few years ago, well.... there just not really "new" anymore, but for 10 bucks, they were pretty good cause they lasted us a few years.

so when i saw this coat, i HAD to have it! the price was 60$ but it was on sale for 50% off, so we payed like 30$ for it. but of course we had to look and see if there were any other coats we liked for a cheaper price. So we went to the mall, and looked in all of the stores, but nothing i really liked, but my mom didnt want to pay 30$ for the coat, so i decided to make a deal, she would only have to pay what she payed in vegas for my old coat, and id pay the rest, so we decided it was a good idea, but after a few hours of searching, i just wanted this coat, so we went back to JCPennys and looked at them, and kelsie found a WHITE coat, i know, kelsie and white, but she promised to only wear it at church. But we finally bought them! it made me sooooo happy!!! now i feel like a princess wearing my new coat. but of course lookin good always has its down side, and the coat is made of wool, so its kinda itchie, but its all about lookin good!!! Thank you mom for buying me the coat!! i will wear it forever!

WE'RE GOIN TO STATE!!

kolton ran at distircs last week, and now were goin to state! (my moms blog got more into it) but anyway, im so excited!! 7 of the boys get to go and run, and 1 girl got to run, cause she made it in the top 10. all of the girls dont get to go cause they lost to rigby by 1 point. but next year, both boys and girls are gona go, cause i already told myself that i am gona run varsity every race, and try to make it in the top 10 in districs, and go to state. Maybe if i make goals for myself now, ill achive them next year!

the only thing bad about state, is that it means that XC is over. i am so sad! i know that usually when a season is over, your really happy, but im really sad! i finaly found the one sport i am good at, and love! i liked bball, but im not exactally that tall. Im good at dance, but its not the one things i love. im good at running, and i love it. its my perfect sport. and i know that theres track, but its more of a sprinter sport, ive even seen someone sprint almost the whole mile! (well ran faster than normal, not sprinting) our schools record for the mile is 5:50!!!!!!!! WOW!!! amazing!! im gona have to talk to that girl!! well, im sad that XC is over, but ill be really happy next year when it starts again!!!!

My Attachment

You know how when you have kids, you get attached to them, and protect them, and are devastated if something bad happens to them?? well, Ive got one of those, just not a kid, its a dog. i am emotionally attached to Sydney. when she got sick, i was really scared, i thought it was really bad, and thought she may not live. one night she started choking on something, and was coughing out blood, and it was really gross. i thought that she wasn't gona be O.K. she really scared me, and that night she had to sleep in my room. the next day was Sunday, and i didn't even want to leave her to go to 2 hrs of church. I made sure she had her medicine at least once a day. When she finally got better, it was a big relief ! Every day i am so glad to come home and see sydney waiting for me in the garage. She is the best dog ever! i know that sounds weird, but shes the best friend i could ever have! I love her so much!!

In Memory

I got this from my friend, and thought it was pretty cool. Especially since we have all been donating our hair, and blankets, and hats for those who have cancer. I just want to let Kelsie, Sam, Maddie, and Mindy know that your all doing the right thing. Some where in the world, some little kid is really appreciating what you doing, and that could save there lives, beacause most children die when they have cancer, because they give up, and think that no one cares about them anymore, but im sure that they really appreciate every thing your trying to do to help them. Thank you for setting a great example to everyone!

XC

So i started cross country in august, and its the funnest sport i have ever done! well idk if you would call it a sport, but ya. for practice we run between 1-5 miles every day after school. it sounds hard, but when you have really good friends on your team, it makes it really fun!!

Our first meet was in Green Canyon. We ran 1.6 miles, and i got like 13:35 or somethin like that. Our next meet was in Freeman Park. We only ran 1.5 miles, but that day neither me, or kelsie felt that good so we got like 13 min again. We got to go to bosie for a meet. none of the middle school kids got to run cause they didnt have enough money, but since me and kelsie were already going to watch kolton run, we got to run too.

When we got there, it was POURING rain!! the varsity boys and girls all had to run in the rain, then the freshman boys ran, and it was so nice outside!! it was perfect temp for running!!! then they started the freshman girls, and it was really nice outside, then it started to rain again. you could see the HUGE big black clouds starting to come. after the girls, it was middle school boys, then girls. they postponed the girls race because of lightning. it was raining really hard! it was lightning really bad. it was really scarry!! we ended up deciding to go home. me and kelsie didnt get to run, but it didnt really matter because we still got the trip to Boise!!

On friday was our meet in Blackfoot. it was the flattest course i will ever run!! it was 1.5 for the middle school. when i started our running, i was in first place. then i let someone pass me, cause i didnt really know where i was going. i ended up getting 7th place out of the whole race. my time was 11:15!!! it made me so happy!! they decided to give out the top ten people meddals for the race!!! me and kelsie got medals cause she got eighth!! it was the best race ever!! and i bet that there were at least 20-30 people running for middle school!! it was the best race ever!!

cross country is fun, but the best part is that my friends get to do it with me too, and kelsie and kolton too. i especially like the meets cause my mom and dad cheer for me the whole way!! its always lots of fun! and hearing there voices while im running, knowing that there proud of me makes me was to run faster than i have ever run before!!

thank you everyone for cheering me on!!!!!

Life Wrap Up

So i know i havent really written in like 2 or 3 months, but im sorry, youll see why in just a minut!!

so this year im in 8th grade in RMMS. kelsie is in 7th. i enjoy having her in the same school as me again. no more gettin home at different times, no more tryin to get ahold of eachother, cause were just in the same school. but being in eighth grade also brings one joy to my life, and one dissapoinment to my moms. i go to high school next year. ya its way exciting for me, and kinda scarry, but for my mom, it may be difficult. she cried when i turned 12 and went into YW, she cried when i got babtized( well most moms do) so i think that it may be hard for her, or it may be fine, either way, ill just nod my head and agree. that usually works.

i am now in bonneville cross country. so is kelsie and kolton. its fun having your brother and sister in the same activity at the same time. its fun just to get out and do stuff together. every day for practice we have to either sprint, or run 1-5 miles. it may sound hard, but when you have a bunch of friends to do it with, it is fun.

i started dace again. i know i quit last year, but i just needed a break, so now im doin it again. but it kinda interfears with xc and track. xc gets over at 5:30, or 6 on mondays, and dace startes at 5. i would MUCH prefer running, but dancing is fun too, so ill have to suck it up.

i am also in piano lessons still. i still take from Christina hudman, who is an EXTEEMLY good teacher, shes patient, and nice, but still pushes you a little. some piano teachers push you to do good, others are nice and are patient, but dont try to push you. Christinas both. i love taking piano lessons, but they interfear with xc too. same with dance, its a time issuse.

well, thats my life since i wrote last. so now you can all stop bugging me about writing again!!!

Girls Camp

sorry its taken so long to write this, but ive kinda been doing it a little bit at a time.

Girls camp was a blast this year, it was stake camp, and we went to Darby. the very first day, we set up camp, then we went to the lodge to do our skits. ours was hilariouse!!! we were the tooth faires, so our skit was about having wisdom, so we had a wisdom tooth, who helped us in every day challenges, and how to have a better life style, so after every time the wisdom tooth was done telling us the right thing to do, we all said, GOT WISDOM? then some of us said, WORD! it was so funny!!!!

the second day was hike day. we all had a blast the whole time, but the one thing that was bad, was that our hike was at 6 in the morning, it was better that it wasnt as hot, but we all were tired when we had to wake up at 5. we all hiked monument, or the win caves hike, we didnt go in the caves, but we did see the monument. it was a fun hike!!

Later that day, we decided to prank the leaders, so while they were sleeping, we put saran wrap around the tent, and safty pinned the zipper closed. then they woke up because we were so loud. once they realised wht we had done, they started laughing. we thought that they thought that there was only the saran wrap, but they knew we pinned it. so we decided to go clean the bathroom. while we were cleaning, they came with squirt guns! while they were squirting us, the guy outside making sure no one was coming in while we were cleaning, told us that we had a hose in the bathroom! that made them run!!!

the very last night, it was raining really hard, so we decided to sleep in the cabin. that was fun. it smelled really bad!! it was really hot!! but it was better thatn being flooded by the rain! spiritual night was the same as always, everyone crying, and were all happy our parents were there. except this year we didnt get the cows mooing the whole time like last year!( maybe some cows just like to bear there testimony too!!)

over all, it was a fun girls camp!!! thank you mom, who put alot of effort into making it fun!! and thank you for all of the pranks!!! it was a blast!!

Remember???

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Washington Trip

Washington is the best place in the world, it has lots of trees, its by the ocean, and its never too hot, in fact, i could live there for the rest of my life! well, in arlington, or mt vernon. not seattle. but im not writing this post because i love washington, and i love visiting there, its because i love spending time with my family, and i love doing stuff together with them, wether its just me, and my mom and dad, and brother and sister, or if its all of my cousins, and aunts, and uncles, and great aunts and uncles. washington was great because i got to spend the whole weekend with all of my family. but now that i have talked about all of my family, i want to talk about just one specific person. Max. now, i know most of you, mostly my moms family is thinkin, whos max?? why does she want to talk about max? well, ill tell you why.
Keith Grace

most of you may know, matt and andrea williams. if you do know them, then you probably know that they have 3 kids, Grace(6), Keith(3), and Max(18mnths) . i dont know why it was, but for some reason, max just loved me, i dont know why, or what i did, but the whole time i was there, he wanted me to hold him, and he would grab my hand, and pull me to where he wanted me to go. i had so much fun with max all weekend, but then it was time to leave. that was the saddest thing ever! i didnt want to leave max! even though he had no clue what was going on, all of us were sad. no one wanted to leave, we all wanted to stay forever! i wouold have slept in that tent every night if i had to, just so i could stay with that family, and most of all, max. it was hard to say goodbye to him, and i will miss him, but i know i will see him in a year.

Me and Max

Fun Cousin Day

So while james and sam were gone, we decided we would take her girls for a night. well, we all had ALOT of energy, so we decided to do some dancing to HSM. while we were dancing, we got out all of my old dress up, and put it on, and took lots of crazy pictures of us dancing, and dressing up.

I love when my cousins come over, and i love spending time with them. we always have so much fun! thank you mckinley and raegan for the fun night we had dancing!
